Jo Adell First To 10 Home Runs In Pacific Coast League
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell is the first player to reach 10 home runs in the Pacific Coast League this season. The 24-year-old is off to a scorching start in 2023, posting a .289/.393/.700 slash line through 24 games. Dominating in the minor leagues is nothing new for Adell, who was heralded among baseball's top prospects not long ago. Multiple unsuccessful stints at the major-league level have hurt Adell's outlook, but the offensive upside remains. Between Mike Trout, Taylor Ward and Hunter Renfroe, the Angels are without an everyday playing opportunity for Adell right now. Regardless, if he stays hot at the plate, Adell should get another shot before too long. He's worth a speculative stash in deeper leagues.
