Aaron Judge Exits But Returns During Monster Performance
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (hand) exited Wednesday afternoon's game in the top of the second inning but quickly returned as part of a three-hit performance. Judge was caught stealing third base and immediately headed for the dugout tunnel and was followed by trainers. However, Judge, who was at designated hitter, quickly returned and finished the contest after injuring his hand. Prior to briefly leaving, Judge logged a pair of doubles and three RBI before adding a single and a walk later in the contest. The robust afternoon lifted Judge's season average to .267, while he's added six homers, two stolen bases, and an .880 OPS to his ledger as he's heating up following 13 straight games without a multi-hit effort.
