Seattle To Trade Down From Fifth Pick?
2 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks are reportedly trying to trade down in the 2023 NFL Draft to either acquire more picks in this year's draft or the 2024 NFL Draft, according to NFL insider Michael Lombardi. Since arriving in Seattle in 2010, general manager John Schneider has made 34 draft day trades, 20 to move down and 11 to move up, with three for a player. If Seattle cannot move the No. 5 overall pick, they've been rumored to be interested in Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson and Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter, among others. Seattle has the fifth pick via the Russell Wilson trade to Denver, and it seems like the possibilities are endless just one day before the draft begins.
