2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Paul Reed has become a cult hero amongst fans and one of the top backup big men in the playoffs. He's only grown more important to the team as Joel Embiid (knee) won't be fully healthy after spraining his knee. With that being said, there haven't been any contract extension talks with the 23-year-old out of DePaul. Doc Rivers was reluctant to give him many minutes at first, but after winning G-League MVP, and proving his worth as a backup, Rivers started giving him more opportunities.
