Bailey Ober Optioned To Triple-A Monday
2 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Bailey Ober was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul Monday. A corresponding move will be announced Tuesday. The move comes after Kenta Maeda (ankle) threw a successful bullpen session while dealing with a left ankle contusion. Ober made a spot start on Sunday and earned the win, allowing one run on three hits and three walks with four strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings against the Nationals. However, he started the season as the odd man out of the rotation and will continue to be. This is frustrating, as he was solid last season as well when he did pitch. For now, fantasy managers will have to keep him on the back burner.
