Chris Bassitt Leaves Monday Start With Lower Back Tightness
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Chris Bassitt left his Monday start against the Chicago White Sox with right lower back tightness. Bassitt left with one out in the seventh inning after he bounced a pitch. He immediately signaled to the trainer after the offering and left the game. There is no timetable for Bassitt's return to the mound but a trip to the injured list is not out of the question, presumably depending on how he progresses over the next few days. Stay tuned.
