2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers general manager Tom Telesco said the team is optimistic that cornerback J.C. Jackson (knee) will be ready for training camp this summer. Jackson is still recovering after tearing his patellar tendon in Week 7 of last year. If Jackson is ready to go for training camp at the end of July, he should be ready for the start of the 2023 regular season as well, barring any setbacks along the way. Still, the 27-year-old doesn't have a firm timetable for a return right now. We'll know more on Jackson's status once he gets back onto the field, and the Bolts are hoping he'll play much better in 2023 than he did in his first year with the team before his injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
