Jarred Kelenic Goes Deep On Sunday
2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a strikeout in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. The 23-year-old put the M's on the board in the bottom of the second inning when he took Jack Flaherty to the opposite field, depositing a solo homer run over the left field wall. The former top-prospect has been a revelation for Seattle this season, slashing a surprising .319/.377/.667 to go along with six home runs, 13 RBI, and three stolen bases over 69 at-bats. Kelenic is paying big dividends for the Mariners and fantasy managers that took a flyer on him so far this year.
