2 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Chas McCormick (back) is not expected to come off of the IL on Tuesday when he is eligible, according to manager Dusty Baker. The 28-year-old is dealing with back and vision issues and has yet to resume hitting. He was playing well atop the Astros lineup before heading to the IL, rocking a .275/.383/.500 batting line to go along with two home runs, nine RBI, and four stolen bases over 40 at-bats.
