Vegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel (upper body) found the back of the net in his return on Wednesday evening during their victory over the Vancouver Canucks. Eichel missed the previous four games due to an upper-body injury but was able to see some action prior to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He would find the back of the net in the final frame on a tip-in. Before his injury, Eichel was also riding a four-game scoreless streak. However, before the slump, the 28-year-old scored six goals and added seven helpers over his last six contests. During this stretch, Eichel logged 13 shots on goal and held a +9 rating. Through 77 total games this season, Eichel has scored 28 goals and added an impressive 66 helpers. He will be viewed as a top play in DFS during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Vegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel (upper body) will remain sidelined for Saturday's tilt against the Nashville Predators. Eichel has gone scoreless in each of his last four appearances and suffered a further late-season blow by picking up an upper-body injury. However, he was on the ice with the team on Saturday morning, so it looks like the 28-year-old superstar is feeling better and moving in the right direction ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Eichel will have two more opportunities to return during the regular season, as the Golden Knights close out their schedule next week with a back-to-back against the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks. Brett Howden is set to continue as the first-line center on Saturday night.

Vegas' leading scorer, who has amassed 93 points (27 goals, 66 assists) in 76 appearances, will miss a second consecutive game due to an upper-body injury. He is considered day-to-day, with Eichel's next opportunity to return coming on Saturday against the Nashville Predators. Brett Howden replaced Eichel on the first line but had a quiet game on Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche, finishing scoreless in nearly 15 minutes of action.

Vegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel (upper body) is considered day-to-day. Vegas' superstar exited the lineup for Tuesday's tilt against the Colorado Avalanche and may miss additional time, as the team has little left to play for in the regular season. With Tomas Hertl (shoulder) still out, the Golden Knights leaned heavily on William Karlsson and Nicolas Roy at center on Tuesday night. Karlsson led all Vegas forwards in ice time with 22:01 and potted a short-handed goal. He could see increased usage again, along with Roy and Brett Howden, in Thursday's contest against the Seattle Kraken.
