Chargers Expected To Target Pass-Catcher In Early Rounds
2 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers have been adamant about targeting a pass-catcher in the early rounds of this year's draft, according to sources close to the team. Quarterback Justin Herbert is in dire need of another playmaker with receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams battling durability issues. The Bolts are looking for speed on the perimeter, and USC's Jordan Addison is a name to watch at No. 21 overall in the first round next Thursday night. Chargers receivers coach Chris Beatty recruited and coached Addison at Pittsburgh. Even though LA would like an offensive playmaker, they also aren't locking themselves into a certain position. Whoever they take, they are committed to adding value.
