Steelers Likely To Target Cornerback, Offensive Tackle In Draft
2 years agoESPN's Matt Miller writes that cornerback and offensive tackle are the two positions that come up the most when talking to sources about the Pittsburgh Steelers' draft plans this year. Penn State cornerback Joey Porter Jr.'s length, aggressive style of play and ability to attack the ball make him a great value and scheme fit for the Steelers, and he could be available in the middle of Round 1 when the Steelers pick at No. 17. Another priority for Pittsburgh should be to protect young quarterback Kenny Pickett. Adding a premium offensive tackle in the first round would be an upgrade over either Dan Moore Jr. or Chukwuma Okorafor.
