Hunter Greene Leaves Monday Start With Tibia Contusion
2 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Hunter Greene left his Monday start against the Tampa Bay Rays after getting hit in the leg by a comebacker. Greene went for X-rays and was found to have suffered a right tibia contusion. Greene had thrown three scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out one, but did not make it out for the beginning of the fourth inning. He was replaced on the mound by right-hander Buck Farmer. It looks like Greene will tentatively be able to make his next scheduled start against the Pittsburgh Pirates but stay tuned.
