Aaron Hicks In Danger Of Being Cut?
2 years agoWith New York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader (oblique) potentially returning from the injured list soon, there's an argument to be made that the Yankees should finally move on from outfielder Aaron Hicks, although the 30-year-old still has three years and $30.5 million left on his contract. He's hitting just .136 (3-for-22) with an RBI in the first 10 games this year, and Isiah Kiner-Falefa has seemingly moved ahead of him on the center field depth chart. Meanwhile, Franchy Cordero has also put on an impressive power display with four home runs and 11 RBI through his first 10 games with the team, although he might need to keep it up to maintain a roster spot. Especially when Bader returns, Hicks probably won't be worth a roster spot in mixed fantasy leagues.
