2 years agoMartin Truex Jr. and his Joe Gibbs Racing car were incredible in Los Angeles. Since then, it has been a bit of a mixed bag. However, this low downforce packages suits Truex Jr. and his No. 19 Toyota well. When it comes to overall total speed, Truex Jr. came in around the top five from Richmond and Phoenix. As runs become longer, especially during the 220 lap final stage, can Truex Jr. gain traction and spots? He qualified fifth which should help early on.
