Chas McCormick Not Expected To Play Sunday
2 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Chas McCormick (eye) is unlikely to play in Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers. According to Astros manager Dusty Baker, McCormick will sit out Sunday's game as a precaution. The 27-year-old was removed from Friday's game due to blurred vision and missed Saturday's game. He is considered day-to-day. McCormick is slashing .275/.383/.500 with two home runs, nine RBI, and seven runs scored across 11 games in 2023. Jake Meyers will continue to fill in at center field while McCormick is sidelined. Meyers is hitting .174 in 2023 and should be avoided in most league formats ad a streamer for Sunday's slate.
