2 years agoAnthony Alfredo will be back in a NASCAR Cup Series car this weekend at Martinsville Speedway, as he will drive the #78 Chevrolet for Live Fast Motorsports that is typically piloted by BJ McLeod. Alfredo also ran this car in the Richmond race earlier this month, finishing 33rd after starting 35th. You can expect a similar result at Martinsville this weekend. Alfredo qualified 30th for Sunday's NOCO 400 and was just 34th-fastest in practice on Saturday. He did finish 26th and 20th in his two starts at this track during the 2021 season, but keep in mind that he was in Front Row Motorsports equipment for those races, which is a significant step above the Live Fast Motorsports car he is running this weekend.--Jordan McAbee
