2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Joey Wiemer is sitting on the bench for Thursday's contest against Nick Martinez and the San Diego Padres. The Brewers called up the rookie on April 1, and he's been a fixture in the starting lineup since. Wiemer's slashing .222/.333/.361 with one homer, four runs, four RBI, and a pair of stolen bases. Fantasy managers shouldn't be worried about playing time for the 24-year-old yet, who's been a wizard on defense thus far. The offense might come as he adjusts to Major League pitching, as he hit .287 with a .888 OPS across 43 games at Triple-A in 2022 and has graded out as a power and speed threat.--Spencer Seguin
