Bo Naylor Hits Grand Slam
2 years agoCleveland Indians catcher prospect Bo Naylor went 1-for-6 with a grand slam on Wednesday for Triple-A Columbus. The 23-year-old has been off to a slow start on the farm with a .225 batting average, but he has come through with three homers and 13 RBI over 40 at-bats. When he is at the top of his game, Naylor offers both speed and power from the backstop position, which can be a big beneficiary to managers down the line. If catcher Mike Zunino were to get hurt or cool down at any point this season, all signs would point to Naylor being the guy to step in. Dynasty managers should be rostering the unique catcher and managers in redraft leagues could do worse than to stash the potential 2023 callup.
