Hunter Greene Strikes Out 10 In No-Decision
2 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Hunter Greene allowed three runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out 10 over six innings in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves. He did not factor into the decision. The 23-year-old picked up his first quality start of the season and induced 21 swinging strikes. He racked up a season-high 10 strikeouts and didn't issue a walk for the first this season. The former first-round pick owns a 5.14 ERA, 1.64 WHIP, and a 23:6 K: BB across 14 innings in 2023. Greene will look to build on Wednesday's performance in his next start at home against the Rays.
