Kyle Farmer Exits Early Following Hit By Pitch Wednesday
2 years agoMinnesota Twins infielder Kyle Farmer exited Wednesday's game after being hit in the head by a pitch from White Sox starter Lucas Giolito. It was a scary scene as Farmer went down hard before walking off slowly with a towel over the side of his head. Farmer struck out in his first plate appearance before exiting in his second and is now hitting just .226 with one home run and a .641 OPS across 11 games to this point. Willi Castro came in to run for Farmer out of the seven-hole in the Twins lineup.
