2 years agoUAB running back DeWayne McBride is meeting with the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday. McBride rushed 437 times for 3,084 (7.06 YPC) over his final two seasons in college and could be a solid mid-round running back selection. That said, he only caught five passes in his three-year college career, so it's tough to project a three-down role for the 215-pound runner. The future of former Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook hangs in the balance, but Alexander Mattison and Ty Chandler remain on the roster for Minnesota. McBride would be an interesting dynasty fantasy asset if he is selected by the Purple and Gold and Cook is traded or cut before the 2023 season.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
