Sungjae Im Could Be In Contention Again
2 years agoSungjae Im had that one stumble in Round 2 of The Masters. The South Korean golfer rebounded with a 67 in Round 3. He kept it even on Sunday to preserve a top-20 result. It may not have been what Im wanted, but that consistency serves him well. Oddly enough, Im has not had a top three all season. Even with 39 measured rounds, Im ranks 12th in strokes gained on average overall at 1.378. Plus, Im scrambles well and converts sand saves at 72% (second on the tour). With the shorter 7,099 yard course at Harbour Town, Im could be very comfortable on the South Carolina course.
