2 years agoSan Diego Padres right-hander Joe Musgrove (toe, shoulder) received a cortisone shot in his right shoulder on Sunday. Musgrove landed awkwardly on his shoulder on a fielding play during a rehab start. The veteran hurler has been out since February with a broken toe and was nearing a return before the shoulder issue. Musgrove is reportedly feeling better and could play catch on Tuesday. It remains to be seen whether this impacts his timeline to return to the field, so stay tuned.--Matt T - RotoBaller
