Tony Gonsolin Might Not Be Ready To Return Until May
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Tony Gonsolin (ankle) continues to make slow progress in his recovery from an ankle injury. Gonsolin sprained his left ankle in early March while doing fielding drills during spring training and is still several weeks away from making his 2023 debut. He threw a batting practice session on Wednesday but apparently that did not go smoothly as he's now expected to wait for another 2-to- 3 weeks before going on a rehab assignment. Gonsolin had a breakout season for the Dodgers in 2022 but fantasy gamers are unlikely to have him back until May if all goes according to plan.
