Former New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, and Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. agreed to a one-year deal to join the Baltimore Ravens for the 2023 NFL season.
Beckham Jr. didn't play last year after tearing his ACL in the Rams' Super Bowl XIV win over the Cincinnati Bengals, so he should be ready to go for Week 1. Beckham. The 30-year-old signed a favorable deal, so it's apparent he'll be a big part of the team's offensive game plan in the upcoming season.
How did Beckham Jr. play in 2021 and what is his fantasy outlook in Baltimore? Let's dive in.

Odell Beckham Jr. 2021 Season Review (DNP 2022)
In six games with Cleveland in 2021, Beckham Jr. caught 23 of his 43 targets for 232 yards and zero touchdowns. He ultimately make it known he wanted out of Baker Mayfield's offense and was eventually traded to the Rams to play alongside Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp.
In eight regular season games with Los Angeles, Beckham Jr. hauled in 27 of his 48 targets for 305 yards and five touchdowns. In the postseason, he secured 21 of his 28 targets and scored the first touchdown of Super Bowl XIV -- but later tore his ACL near midfield.
He clearly still had juice, but he's taken a full year off football and will turn 31 years old during the 2023 season -- all while coming off of his second ACL tear of his career.
Odell Beckham Jr. 2023 Fantasy Football Outlook
The Lamar Jackson situation is still progressing and we don't know for sure who will be the Ravens' quarterback in 2023. However, is the signing of Beckham enough to help Baltimore with contract negotiations? There's speculation Beckham must know something about Jackson's future if he agreed to sign with the team, but that's not a certainty.
Beckham was given a one-year deal worth up to $18 million, with $15 million guaranteed. That's enough of a reason to sign -- even if Jackson's future with the team is still unclear. Either way, the Ravens didn't offer him that much money to be a mere role player, so he'll be featured heavily alongside Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews. New offensive coordinator Todd Monken is expected to dial up the passing attempts, so there could be more volume to go around than usual in Baltimore.
Since Beckham is past the age apex for wideouts and hasn't played in over a year, it's smart to temper expectations. For now, Beckham shouldn't be considered anything more than a flex consideration or W3/4 in 2023 fantasy drafts. Andrews has proven to be a target hog and Bateman has flashed when healthy. Beckham will help the team in real life, but he may not be a high-end fantasy option heading into his 10th season in the league.
