George Kirby Solid In Sunday's No-Decision
2 years agoSeattle Mariners right-hander George Kirby allowed one run on five hits over six innings while striking out four in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Cleveland Guardians. He did not factor into the decision. The 25-year-old bounced back after surrendering four runs on nine hits in the previous start. He yielded an RBI sacrifice fly to Jose Ramirez, his only earned run on Sunday. The right-hander owns a 4.35 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, and a 9:1 K: BB across 10 1/3 innings in 2023. Kirby's next start is at home on Saturday against the Colorado Rockies. Fantasy managers should roll with Kirby in a plus matchup in Week 3.
