Jordan Westburg Off To Slow Start In Triple-A Norfolk
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles third base prospect Jordan Westburg is slashing .227/.292/.364 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs over five games in 2023. He is Baltimore's No. 4 prospect and was reassigned to minor league camp in late March as the Orioles didn't have a spot for him on the big league roster. The 24-year-old can play anywhere in the infield and will likely get the call to the big leagues soon. He had a solid spring, hitting .308 with a home run, four RBI, and seven runs scored through 16 Grapefruit League games. Westburg has above-average speed, evidenced by swiping 9-of-12 attempts for Triple-A Norfolk in 2022. Westburg will look to turn things around in Triple-A while he awaits his call to the majors. Fantasy managers should continue to stash Westburg in dynasty formats for now.
