2 years agoKansas City Royals first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino is batting fourth in Thursday's matchup against the Toronto Blue Jays. Pasquantino is set to face Blue Jays' right-hander Kevin Gausman. Kansas City has shuffled Pasquantino around in the lineup in an effort to get him to shake off his early season struggles. The 25-year-old is hitting .118 (2-for-17) with a home run over six games in 2023. He was a trendy sleeper in fantasy drafts after slashing .295/.383/.450 over 72 games last year. Pasquantino will look to turn things around starting Thursday against the Blue Jays.
