Hendon Hooker Could Be A First-Round Pick
2 years agoUniversity of Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker is seemingly climbing up draft boards, despite sitting out all on-field testing due to his torn ACL in late November last year. Hooker has reportedly impressed organizations during the interview process and has met with or is scheduled to meet with the New Orleans Saints, Tennessee Titans, and Washington Commanders, among others. Hooker posted 3,135 passing yards, 27 passing touchdowns, and just two interceptions during his final year in college. He added 430 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. ESPN's Todd McShay's latest mock draft projects Hooker to be selected by the Minnesota Vikings at pick No. 23. The 25-year-old is expected to be ready for offseason activities and should be pro-ready immediately.
