Cedric Mullins Swipes Fourth Bag Of Season Monday
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins continued to show off his speed in Monday's 2-0 win over the Rangers. Mullins went 0-for-2 with two walks, a strikeout, and a stolen base. It was known that the new pitcher disengagement rules and larger bases may lead to more steals, and the O's in general have shown that to be the case. The 28-year-old is off to a great start, slashing .333/.474/.733 with two home runs, seven RBI, and four stolen bases. It was only two seasons ago that Mullins hit 30 HR and stole 30 bases. While it is unreasonable to expect that many HR from him, it seems that he could easily surpass 30 stolen bases this season at this pace.
