Luke Evangelista Ties Franchise Record With Four-Point Period
2 years agoNashville Predators right wing Luke Evangelista popped up with a huge game Tuesday against the Sabres, producing two goals and two assists in a 7-3 victory. All of his four points came in the second period, which puts him tied with Filip Forsberg for the most points in a single period in franchise history. Evangelista also became only the second Nashville rookie to have a four-point outing. The 21-year-old is now on five goals and four assists through his first 11 career appearances. He's seeing top-six minutes and rides with the first power-play unit, which is a great situation for a first-year player.

Luke Evangelista Set To Return Tuesday
2 years agoNashville Predators right wing Luke Evangelista (upper body) is set to return to the lineup for Tuesday's clash with Detroit. Nashville head coach John Hynes has said that there's "a good chance" Evangelista returns, which is a strong signal that he is able to play again after missing the previous game with an upper-body problem. The 21-year-old made his NHL debut late last month and has notched two goals and two goals in his first six career games. With Filip Forsberg (upper body), Juuso Parssinen (upper body) and Ryan Johansen (leg) out, Evangelista should continue to see top-six minutes and a nice chunk of power-play time.
