2 years agoMetrics and the appeal helped Kyle Larson a good deal for the Richmond race on Sunday. Larson starts ninth in his No. 5 Chevy. He typically loses speed in the August event but last year showed top-five late run speed en route to a top five result. Larson was ninth after Stage 2. That fifth was Larson's best Spring result on the short track and maybe he learned some things. With cooler temperatures expected again on Palm Sunday, Larson might be able to use his good fortune to hang around in contention on the short track. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
