2 years agoDenny Hamlin and the Joe Gibbs Racing team have enjoyed a lot of success at Richmond. Last year, Hamlin won the April race despite only leading five laps. Leading the one that matters never hurts. The No. 11 driver also finished fourth in the August edition. It is intriguing to note that Hamlin has performed well in a number of ways. Aside from starting 11th this time, he shows great track speed when it counts on this track err acceleration.
