We have come to the official end of the college basketball season. UConn surprised few and ran over Miami en route to the Championship. It was a harder road for San Diego State. They came back from 14 down to win on a last-second shot to end the superb run of Florida Atlantic.
UConn won their last title in 2011 when the Final Four was also gutted...and was also held in Houston. It's deja vu all over again. Can the Aztecs knock them off? The defense is strong enough that they just might. The college guys are the only game in town tonight!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/3/23 starting at 9:20 pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.
DraftKings DFS Captain - NCAA Championship Game
Adama Sanogo, Connecticut ($15,000)
There's not much else to say about Sanogo. He has three double-doubles in five tournament games and missed a chance at more by two rebounds in the other two games. He's UConn's heart and they can't win without him. If you think UConn wins the game, Sanogo will undoubtedly be the best DFS play for either team. He's not going to have a monster performance against this defense, but no one else will either.
Matt Bradley, San Diego State ($11,100)
Bradley came up big for the Aztecs in the Final Four matchup against FAU. He scored 11 points in the first four minutes and finished with 21 total. The rest of his peripherals were about where they usually are. If you think SDSU wins, they won't have a chance if Bradley doesn't have a game as he did on Saturday. Sanogo might still outscore him, but the $3,900 savings can make a huge difference in the look of your lineups. We all know the risks with Bradley, but it's hard not to think he's back on track after Saturday.
Also consider: Andre Jackson, Connecticut (11,700); Darrion Trammell, San Diego State ($9,900)

DraftKings DFS Utility - NCAA Championship
Andre Jackson, Connecticut ($8,200)
Jackson is active all over the floor and isn't reliant on scoring. If you're betting the under in this game because you think the SDSU defense comes up big, Jackson should be your main choice for captain. He isn't dependent on scoring and he might just be the best defensive player on either team.
That's saying a lot considering the Aztecs were one of the best defensive teams in Division I this year. This could be the time to use a guy that isn't really reliable on scoring. Regardless, Jackson will be in every one of my builds. If you're expecting a defensive battle, Tristen Newton should be your pairing with Jackson in those lineups.
Jaedon LeDee, San Diego State ($6,400)
LeDee only played 14 minutes against the Owls on Saturday, but he poured in 12 points and hauled down six rebounds. They are going to need someone to get a body on Sanogo on both ends of the court and LeDee seems a likely choice for that role. If he spends 25 minutes on the court, he could put up some pretty big numbers for this price.
Nathan Mensah, San Diego State ($5,400)
Mensah was effective when he was on the court against FAU, but he sat much of the first half due to foul trouble. He came out with a vengeance in the second half, hitting a couple of key shots and grabbing some big rebounds. Mensah is another guy that is going to be needed to help combat UConn's size. The Aztecs are cheap enough that I will likely have three in my lineups even if I don't expect them to win.
Also consider: Alex Karaban, Connecticut ($7,600); Lamont Butler, San Diego State ($7,000); Donovan Clingan, Connecticut ($6,000)
NCAA Championship Best Bets:
There isn't a lot to choose from on this one. Part of me thinks UConn leaves no doubt and destroys SDSU much like they did Gonzaga. Part of me thinks the Aztecs might hang around and win. Due to this, I'm mostly sticking with some prop bets.
Picks:
Matt Bradley over 12.5 points (-118)
Adama Sanogo over 8.5 rebounds (-104)
Andre Jackson 5+ assists and UConn win (-117)
San Diego State +7.5 (-110)
