2 years agoAustin Cindric may not be producing the results some expect on short tracks yet, but he keeps improving at Richmond. Cindric and his Team Penske car start sixth on Sunday. Considering, the No. 2 Ford has never started better than 20th, this is an advantageous position for Cindric. Each race has seen some progression on the 0.75-mile track. Last August, Cindric started 33rd and ended up 12th. He was even in the top ten briefly during the final stage. Will the cooler temperatures hurt? They might.
