Anthony Rendon Could Get Day Off Sunday
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon (knee) could miss Sunday's game against the A's after getting treatment on his left knee following Saturday's win over Oakland. The 32-year-old crashed into the tarp during Saturday's victory and was getting treatment on his left knee after the game. Rendon's knee issue is not considered severe. He went 0-for-3 with an RBI before being pulled from Saturday's game for precautionary reasons. Fantasy managers should check back on Sunday to see if Rendon is in the lineup before inserting him into their starting lineups. David Fletcher will start at third base if Rendon misses Sunday's contest and is mainly an option in AL-Only or deep-league formats.
