Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart (rest) will not be in the lineup on Saturday against the Buffalo Sabres. Florida's leading scorer will be rested for the contest. Buffalo will be delighted with the news, given that Reinhart has amassed four points (one goal, three assists) in three contests against his former team this season. Overall, Reinhart has managed 37 goals and 79 points in 78 contests. Aleksander Barkov is also resting on Saturday, giving players like Anton Lundell and Eetu Luostarinen more fantasy value. The Panthers are expected to bring Reinhart and Barkov back into the lineup on Monday versus the New York Rangers.

Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart (rest) will not be in the lineup on Sunday against the Detroit Red Wings. The Panthers have locked up a playoff berth, and head coach Paul Maurice has decided to give Reinhart some "healing time" ahead of the postseason. Reinhart has been ever-present for the Panthers since the start of the 2023-24 campaign. He has averaged slightly over a point per game this season, notching 37 goals and 41 assists in 76 contests. Sam Bennett (rest) will also be absent from the lineup, which will allow Rasmus Asplund and Jesse Puljujarvi to soak up some action. Both players have done well in the minors but have struggled to make an impact in the big league.

Florida Panthers right wing Sam Reinhart found the back of the net twice during their shootout victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday evening. Reinhart would open the scoring in the first period as he beat Tristan Jarry on a snapshot. Later in the second, Reinhart would find the back of the net again, this time on the power play. In this contest, he logged five total shots on goal with one hit. Over his last nine contests, the 29-year-old has scored four goals and added seven helpers, with seven of his total points coming on the power play. During this stretch, he logged 26 total shots on goal with 15 hits and six blocked shots. Through 71 total games, Reinhart has scored 35 goals and added 40 helpers. He remains an elite winger playing on the top offensive unit in Florida.

Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart led all skaters with three points as Canada beat Finland 5-3 in the 4 Nations Face-Off on Monday. Reinhart has scored over 80 goals across the last two NHL campaigns but focused on playmaking in Monday's game, picking up all of his points via assists. The Panthers forward produced a big performance after having gone scoreless with a minus-two rating in the first two contests in the tournament. He joined Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon on the first line, and the trio combined for seven points (three goals, four assists). Reinhart, who was riding a six-game point streak with the Panthers before the 4 Nations Face-Off began, could make a significant impact again if the line sticks together for Thursday's championship game against the U.S.
