2 years agoFive straight made cuts with three resulting in top-15 finishes, Ben Martin is rolling into the Valero Texas Open this week. Martin has been a nice surprise this season, as he currently sits 81st in the FedEx Cup standings. A reason for that, Martin sits inside the top-100 on tour in strokes gained on approach (20th) strokes gained total (80th on tour) and strokes gained putting (99th on tour). In his career, Martin has made four of five career cuts at the Valero Texas Open but is still looking for his first top-30 at the event.
