Coby Mayo Reassigned To Minor-League Camp
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles third base prospect Coby Mayo was re-assigned to minor-league camp following an 18-at-bat stint in the Grapefruit League. The 21-year-old managed five hits and a .777 OPS in his first look at the top level. Last season, Mayo flashed his 60-grade power, accruing 19 home runs and a .456 slugging percentage across 104 games at three different minor-league levels. He enters 2023 as a top-10 prospect in the Orioles robust farm system. Mayo is unlikely to reach the majors this season, but continued strides will put him on track to join the MLB roster before long.
