Clayton Keller Stays Hot With Two Goals
2 years agoArizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller scored twice in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to Edmonton, moving to 34 goals for the season. He gave the Coyotes two leads in the contest but the team couldn't hang on to either of them. Keller has become only the sixth player over the 20 years to post a point streak of at least 10 games. He's been on a complete tear during the scoring run, putting up nine goals and 10 assists. Having reached 78 points in 72 games, the 24-year-old is now tied for the second-most points by a Coyotes player in a single season, and Keith Tkachuk's all-time team record of 86 points is well within Keller's reach.
