With the team in the heat of the playoff race, Minnesota would gladly welcome back their star big man. There should be more information regarding his status closer to tip-off after Towns goes through pregame workouts. Kyle Anderson will likely take a hit once Towns has returned.

Karl-Anthony Towns Leads All Scorers In Game 3 Victory
Karl-Anthony Towns posted his best offensive performance of the first-round series on Thursday. The former Timberwolf registered 31 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks while shooting 10-for-18 from the floor and 4-for-8 from three. After dropping Game 2 at home, the Knicks needed this two-point victory to gain their home-court advantage again. This game bumped Towns' averages up to 21.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.7 blocks per game. Game 4 tips off on Sunday in Detroit before returning to New York for at least one game.

Karl-Anthony Towns Returning To Action Saturday
Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) is ready to rejoin the lineup on Saturday against the Detroit Pistons. Towns has been managing a left knee injury and did not play in the last two regular-season games. However, he has been removed from the injury report ahead of the postseason. Towns met the Pistons three times during the regular season and had no trouble filling the box score. He averaged 24.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.3 steals in the matchup.

Karl-Anthony Towns Out Against Brooklyn
Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) won't play on Sunday against Brooklyn. He was listed as questionable. However, not many expected to see KAT on the floor. Jalen Brunson (ankle), Josh Hart (knee), and OG Anunoby (thumb) also won't suit up, meaning DFS managers could see increased production from Precious Achiuwa, Landry Shamet, Cameron Payne, and Miles McBride.

Karl-Anthony Towns Ruled Out Versus Cleveland
Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) won't play on Friday against Cleveland. KAT had 25 points, 10 boards, five assists, and one steal in Thursday's loss to the Pistons. He also had seven turnovers. However, as some expected, Towns will get the night off. Mitchell Robinson, who had 14 points and 14 rebounds while filling in for Towns in the April 1 win over the 76ers, will move into the starting lineup.
