Dolidze secured a takedown in the middle of the first round, and when Holland attempted to escape the danger, he twisted his body, injuring his rib in the process. Dolidze continued with ground-and-pound, but Holland managed to survive to the bell. When the second round was about to start, Holland's corner threw in the towel and the fight was stopped. In 5 minutes of action, Dolidze landed a takedown and 19 significant strikes. By defeating Holland, Dolidze improved to 14-3 as a pro and 8-3 in the UFC.
