In 15 minutes of striking action, Dolidze tallied 71 significant strikes compared to Vettori's 106. Though Dolidze came out with a strong first round, Vettori was just too much. Dolidze still looks to be a dangerous force in the UFC's middleweight division for some time to come.

6 months agoRoman Dolidze picked up a TKO win over Kevin Holland on the main card of UFC 307. Dolidze secured a takedown in the middle of the first round, and when Holland attempted to escape the danger, he twisted his body, injuring his rib in the process. Dolidze continued with ground-and-pound, but Holland managed to survive to the bell. When the second round was about to start, Holland's corner threw in the towel and the fight was stopped. In 5 minutes of action, Dolidze landed a takedown and 19 significant strikes. By defeating Holland, Dolidze improved to 14-3 as a pro and 8-3 in the UFC.

In his last bout, Dolidze defeated Anthony Smith at light heavyweight, which was taken on short notice by Smith after Anthony Hernandez withdrew from the fight. Prior to his bout against Smith, Dolidze was on a two-fight losing streak, losing to Nassourdine Imavov and Marvin Vettori. DraftKings sees Dolidze as the underdog with a salary of $7,900.
