William Byron Wins Again On Sunday
2 years agoWilliam Byron was at the right place at the right time on Sunday. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver steamed out of the three-wide in the lead and never looked back. Byron led the final two laps after the first overtime restart. That allowed him to cross the finish line 0.33 seconds ahead of Ryan Blaney to win the United Rentals Work United 500. Byron and his No. 24 car proved there was a correlation from the Las Vegas race. In all, he led 64 laps on Sunday and nabbed his third stage win of the season too. Byron is currently fourth in points but has the early inside track for "The Chase".
