2 years agoKyle Busch has had success at Phoenix Raceway in the past, but that was the past, and with a different team. Now Busch is driving for Richard Childress Racing and not Joe Gibbs Racing, and he will look to build on the success in qualifying. Busch did not have the speed in practice, running in the mid- to lower-20s in practice. He was able to make a strong qualifying effort and land in the top 10, starting from the ninth position. With a win in the bag and a spot in the playoffs secured, Busch can take some liberties and see if he can get his No. 8 Chevrolet into victory lane for the second time this season.--Eric DeWilde
