Could Tom Brady Return To The NFL in 2023?
Why not? He already did it once, didn't he? When you are the best to ever play the sport, no matter the age, shouldn't you be allowed to come back whenever and wherever you want?
Brady will be 46 years of age when the 2023 NFL season begins and that's old for a football player. But can he still play? Absolutely.
The GOAT has accomplished everything he will ever want to accomplish, holding nearly every major quarterback record. He is the all-time league leader in passing yards and touchdowns and has more Super Bowl rings (seven) and appearances (10) than anyone in history. TB12 does not need to come back to prove anything, he only will only return if his desire pushes him to do so.
Which Team Will Sign Brady If He Comes Out Of Retirement?
There has been significant chatter in recent days amongst NFL executives and high-profile media types who are "in the know" that there is a real possibility Brady comes out of retirement again. If he does, many believe he would play for the Miami Dolphins, a team that might be in need of quarterback help. Tua Tagovailoa, the current starting signal caller in Miami, has had numerous concussions over the past two seasons and the team may be looking to replace him with someone more reliable.
Earlier this week, Brady jokingly debunked the notion that the rumors are true, but never actually came out and said he wasn't coming back. Would it be a great story if the greatest to ever wear number 12 returns to the NFL in 2023? You bet your pigskin it would.
It would certainly be entertaining on all fronts and something fans would welcome with open arms if Brady were to return to the NFL and the fantasy football world. We know he loves playing the game more than just about anything, we know that he can still play, we know he has a home in South Florida, and we know that there is a part of him that is seriously considering it. Stay tuned, things are about to get interesting.
