2 years agoIn the lone decision on the main card of UFC 285 on Saturday, Mateusz Gamrot returned to the win column with a split-decision victory over a very tough opponent in Jalin Turner. In 15 minutes of action, Gamrot tallied 29 significant strikes compared to Turner's 40, but he held the total striking edge by landing 89 compared to that of Turner's 62. The ground game is what gave Gamrot his edge, landing four takedowns and holding a control time of 6:52. The former KSW champion moves to 5-2 in the UFC and rebounds from a decision loss.--Matt Bricker
