2 years agoAs we saw last weekend at Auto Club Speedway, Ross Chastain and his Trackhouse Racing team are fast to start out the 2023 season. Although he didn't win in California a week ago, Chastian still led the most laps in that race, won both Stages, and ended up finishing 3rd at the checkered flag. Now Ross sets his sights on Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a track where he was a contender in both races last season. Those two events ended with Chastain in 3rd and 2nd place when the checkered flag waved, and he led a combined 151 laps between the two races. The #1 Chevrolet will start from 8th in Sunday's Pennzoil 400 and should definitely be considered a contender to win it.--Jordan McAbee
