Martin Fehervary, Nick Jensen Injured On Wednesday
2 years agoThe Washington Capitals had to finish Wednesday's game against Anaheim with four defensemen after Martin Fehervary (lower body) and Nick Jensen (upper body) exited with injuries. Jensen too only three shits and left in the first period and Fehervary had to leave in the third. Despite being shorthanded, Washington showed great character by finding a way to win, collecting the two points with a 3-2 scoreline in overtime. Both Jensen and Fehervary have been great assets defensively for the Capitals, and the former has also made an impact on offense, registering 24 points across 63 games. Fehervary leads the team with 163 hits and has recorded 93 blocks. Rasmus Sandin couldn't make his debut Wednesday due to immigration issues, but he could be carrying a very big load straight away for his new team if Jensen and Fehervary are sidelined for the next games. They are considered day-to-day for now.
