Filip Hronek Taken Out By Injury Tuesday
2 years agoDetroit Red Wings defenseman Filip Hronek could only log eight minutes of action in Tuesday's clash with Ottawa, leaving the game with an upper-body injury. According to Detroit head coach Derek Lalonde, Hronek had already entered the contest with an upper-body injury, so it looks like he aggravated something. Hronek exited in the middle of the second frame and finished with a minus-one rating. The 25-year-old is among the team leaders with a plus-eight rating and has played a massive part for the Red Wings all season, posting 29 assists and 38 points in 60 games. Hronek has already matched his career high in scoring and his work also includes 122 shots on net, 97 hits and 54 blocks.
